Magic Show: Longest Running Magic Venue in NYC: 15 years. The Magic Towne House. Dorothy Dietrich and Dick Brookz. In 1974 the Magic Town House became the first and subsequently longest running magic venue in New York City closing its doors after 15 years of continuous magic performances. Record Holders Republic proudly recognizes the accomplishments of Dick Brookz and Dorothy Dietrich "The First Lady of Magic" for nuturing the career of many world famous magicians who began the early part of their career at the Magic Towne House. Some of the notables to perform were Douog Henning, Harry Blackstone Jr., Slydini, and The Amazing Randi.
