Unicycling: Furthest Distance: 9,136 miles. The Rev. Lars J. Clausen, who left a job as campus minister at East Lansing's University Lutheran Church in 2001, broke the world distance record for riding a unicycle when he rode for 205 days, a distance of 9,136 miles (14,703 km). Beginning on April 22, 2002 at the shore of the Pacific Ocean in Neah Bay, Washington (USA), he followed a route that took him through many states, ending on November 12, 2002. BOAR
