Derry, Ireland, holds the record for non-stop singing, a record he's held on and off since the 1970s, when he started the record with a time of 132 hours, 45 minutes (5 ½ days). Beginning on January 10, 1996, Eamonn broke the record live on television on January 21, 1996 during a Telethon to benefit the Centre for the Disabled, the record being exactly 11 days, beating the previous record of 10 days, 22 hours.
