Breath holding : Wim Hof Method : Marc Romain. By accumulating several consecutive apneas, out of a total of 160 minutes, 88 minutes were spent in apnea (i.e. 55% of the total time). The apneas were performed with "neutral" lungs (the lungs were almost empty of oxygen, without inspiration or forced expiration).


Free Diving

Free diving : Cold water : Swimming shorts (without wetsuit ): On October 30, 2022, Marc Romain dived to a depth of 23.6 M (77.4 Feet), the water temperature was 7 celsius (44.6 Fahrenheit), wearing only swimming shorts, a mask, a snorkel, a pair of flippers, a hood, gloves, and a depth gauge watch.

Wim Hof Method : Marc Romain completed 31 consecutive Rounds: 2H40 minutes. Marc performed 31 rounds in a row of breathing exercises from the Wim Hof Method. September 11, 2022 starting at 10:36 a.m. and ending at 1:16 p.m. for a total duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes. PHASE 1 : more than 1000 dynamic breaths in a row - PHASE 2 : 5318 seconds (88.63 minutes) of breath holds neutral lungs in a row - PHASE 3 : 465 seconds of breath holds full lungs.
