The Largest Spanish Omelette (Tortilla de Patata) measured 5.2 metre's in diameter and 7 cms thick.
Dr.Felix Ignacia Torres witnessed the record. Pedro Palacios assisted also with the event.
Chef Senen Gonzalez and his team of 15 people used 1,500 kgs of potatoe's, 12,000 eggs, 15 kilo's of salt and 180 litre's of olive oil.
After cooking it was divided into 10,000 ration's and money was raised for local NGO.
