Drill in Nose: "Human Tool Box": First: Brad Eugene Byers. Brad was the first person to use an unaltered electric power drill and a ¼” bit to drill into his head through the nose and into the sinus cavity (Moscow, Idaho; summer, 1980). He invented this feat for presentation on stage as a finale to the classic human blockhead sideshow act. Brad was later recognized for his achievement and awarded “The Human Toolbox” Guinness world record when he performed the act on the Guinness World Records: Primetime TV show. (Los Angeles, California, 1998).

Sword Swallowing: Most Individual Swords - Swallowed and Twisted: 12. Brad Byers. Brad Byers swallowed twelve 1/16th inch thick (the equivalent of 19 one mm swords) independent nonbundled 27.75 inch swords (23 inch blades) and twisted them 180 degrees in the esophagus. Swords were inserted one at a time and twisted simultaneously. No lubrication was used i.e. licking the blades or coating the blades with vegetable oil. July 26th, 2015 in Pullman, Washington USA.
