Students, staff, tribes, organizations and community from the Bacone College baseball team, Cherokee Nation Councilmen, the Muskogee Public Schools’ Indian Education Department and than 30 Native American Student Advocacy students from Muskogee High School, second- and fourth-graders from the Cherokee Immersion School in Tahlequah and students from Sequoyah High School. The record occurred at Bacone College. One special guest of honor who helped the dance record, 85-year-old Gloriette Miles of Arkansas, graduated from Bacone in 1949.
