Bicep Curls: Hammer Curls: 4,000 lbs.: 1 minute. Smiley Elmore, Jr., Ph.D. December 24,2015. Dr. Elmore performed 25 reps first with the R arm and then 25 reps with the L arm, curling an 80 lb. dumbell. Each rep began with a straightened arm and terminated with the barbell touching his chin.
